EMM is thrilled to announce that two young instrumentalists from our roster, violinist Johan Dalene and pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason, have won places on the European Concert Hall Organisation’s Rising Stars series for the 21/22 season.
Johan, nominated by Konserthuset Stockholm, and Isata, nominated by Town Hall & Symphony Hall Birmingham, will perform concert programmes in some of the most illustrious European venues over the course of the season, in addition to engaging in learning and participation activities in each of the cities. Johan and Isata will also each have the chance to work with a composer and to commission a new work to be performed as part of their Rising Stars concert programmes
